10. Confusion with place and time
How frequently do you keep asking about the dates, seasons and months of the year? When one begins to have a disorientation of time, then it is a sign of suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Apart from this, the same person may also fail to remember his/her place of resident, forget the way to his/her workplace or even forget about some common routes he has used in the past. These are some serious conditions that will develop when one suffers from Alzheimer’s disease over a long duration of time. Most people may confuse this with a natural aging process, which is not actually the case. There are some serious cases like; one not being able to remember where he/she left the car. Besides this, one may also fail to measure the amount of time that has passed. For example, when you easily confuse a day with about a year or more, then the condition is very serious and the problem needs to be corrected as soon as possible.
